✔️The First Deputy Prime Minister also reviewed the operations of ZIKSTO LLP, one of the region's largest machine-building enterprises producing railway rolling stock. Construction of a new 12,000-square-meter plant was completed in 2025, and a robotic production line was installed. The project cost 25 billion tenge and created 300 jobs. During his visit, Nurlybek Nalibayev also visited the CLAAS agricultural machinery assembly plant, the oil extraction plant of Maslo-Del LLC, the greenhouse complex of Zelenyi Sever LLC, and the Petropavl Heavy Machinery Plant JSC. These projects are aimed at developing the region's industrial and agro-industrial potential, processing raw materials, and producing high-added-value products.
Particular attention was paid to energy security issues. At the Petropavl Thermal Power Plant-2, preparations for the 2026-2027 heating season and the implementation of repair and investment programs were presented. The investment program for 2025 amounted to 15 billion tenge, with 16.2 billion tenge earmarked for this year.
Also in Petropavl, Nurlybek Nalibayev inspected the overpass project on Universalnaya Street. Its implementation will improve transport and pedestrian connections between city districts, relieve traffic congestion, and enhance safety for residents. The project is currently 90% complete, with completion scheduled for August of this year.
