A regular meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission for the Prevention of Offenses was held under the chairmanship of the Akim of the region with the participation of Alexey Milyuk, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for the Coordination of Preventive Work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, heads of government agencies, akims of cities and districts.

Two issues were considered at the meeting, the prevention of repeat criminality and the re-socialization of persons previously held criminally responsible, as well as the issue of combating cattle rustling and preventing uncontrolled grazing of farm animals.

On the first issue, the authorized state bodies were instructed to provide targeted support to this category of citizens, expand their employment opportunities and strengthen interdepartmental cooperation.

On the second issue, it was pointed out that it is necessary to strengthen preventive work on the ground, increase the responsibility of officials and take systematic measures to prevent uncontrolled grazing of livestock, which poses a threat to road safety, the preservation of agricultural land and public order.

As a result of the meeting, priority areas for further interdepartmental work were identified, additional measures were developed aimed at improving the effectiveness of crime prevention and strengthening coordination of the activities of interested government agencies.
