“Healers of human souls”

Today, on the instruction of the district akim, a ceremonial event titled “Healers of Human Souls” was held at the Shamshat Tolepova District House of Culture to honor the noble work of healthcare professionals and celebrate Medical Workers’ Day.
The event, dedicated to specialists whose primary mission is to protect human life and health, began with a video presentation highlighting the important role of medical workers in society.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Akim of the district Shyngys Sydykov said:
“Today, thanks to the special support of our President, the Government, and the regional leadership, large-scale changes are taking place in the healthcare sector of our district. In 2024–2025, three medical outpatient clinics with upgraded facilities were commissioned in the rural districts of Dauylkol, Akzhar, and Dur Ongar, providing residents with better access to healthcare services. In addition, feldsher-midwife stations were built in the villages of Kuandariya and Karmakshy. In 2025, the district hospital was equipped with new medical equipment worth 219 million tenge, while the Baikonur Multidisciplinary City Hospital received equipment worth 31 million tenge. Over the past three years, 15 new ambulances have been delivered to healthcare institutions. Thanks to your dedication and tireless work, our district has achieved high results in improving the quality of medical services and protecting maternal and child health, raising healthcare standards to a new level.”
During the ceremony, several healthcare workers who made significant contributions to the development of the healthcare sector were awarded Letters of Appreciation from the Regional Akim and the District Akim.
The Chief Physician of the Karmakshy District Hospital, Bakytzhan Nysanbayev, presented special awards to outstanding employees and wished his colleagues continued success in their work.
The festive evening featured performances by local artists and healthcare workers, who delighted guests with beautiful songs and dances, creating a joyful atmosphere for the occasion.
It is worth noting that today more than 700 healthcare professionals are honorably serving the people and safeguarding public health in the sacred land of the Karmakshy district.
