An exhibition of books, organized jointly with representatives of the Central Library of the city of Semey, was held at the maximum security institution of the Penitentiary Service for the Abai region on the Day of Kindness.

       The main purpose of the event was the spiritual and moral education of convicts, popularization of reading and drawing attention to universal values such as kindness, mercy, mutual assistance and respect for others.

        The exhibition featured artistic and educational publications on the topics of humanism, morality and personal development. The convicts had the opportunity to get acquainted with literature, exchange opinions and choose books for further reading.

        - The book is an important tool for educational influence and personal development. Such events help convicts broaden their horizons, rethink life values and form a desire for positive changes," said Ermek Rakhimov, head of the Department of educational and socio-psychological work among convicts.

          The book exhibition was another example of fruitful cooperation between the institution and the Central Library of the city of Semey and an important element of educational work aimed at the rehabilitation of convicts.
