A gala event dedicated to Medical Worker's Day, "Ult saulygyn ulyqtagan darіger" was held at the Arts Center.
The event was attended by the regional akim Murat Ergeshbayev, members of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurtore Zhusup, Bekbol Orynbasarov, Amangeldy Esbay, heads of law enforcement agencies, intellectuals, and industry veterans.
The head of the region congratulated the medical workers who work diligently to improve the nation's health.
"The work of those who have defended our health, protected the human soul, and promoted kindness and compassion is always significant.
Head of State Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich said: "The health of the nation is the most valuable asset in our country. Therefore, the development of the medical industry is a strategic goal of the state. In this regard, doctors undoubtedly occupy a special place in the life of the country." On the occasion of today's anniversary, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlybek Nalibayev sent you a special congratulation.

Hero of Labor of Kazakhstan, our fellow countryman Yuri Vladimirovich Pya, has performed over 5,000 heart surgeries. For the first time in the history of medicine, a team of specialists led by the country's chief surgeon, Professor Bolatbek Baimakhanov, and fellow countryman, successfully performed a complex kidney transplant on three patients. Bolatbek Baimakhanov received the Order of Barys, Second Class, from the President yesterday. On behalf of all the residents of Kyzylorda, I congratulate our fellow countryman on this prestigious award!
Last year, for the first time in the region's history, a liver transplant was performed, and 10 kidney transplants were performed. Six new types of surgeries were introduced into practice. These are striking examples that define the capabilities of raw materials medicine and the qualifications of specialists. A doctor is the holder of the most noble profession. Be faithful and respectful to the people"- said the head of the region.
At the ceremony, specialists who made a significant contribution to the development of the industry were awarded the orders “Parasat”, “Kurmet”, medals “Eren enbegi ushin”, “Shapagat”, “Enbek ardageri” of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, badges “Densaulyk saktau isinin uzdigi”, “Densaulyk saktau isine koskan ulesi ushin”, the honorary title “Kazakhstan enbek sinirgen darigeri”, Awarded letters of gratitude from the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the akim of the region, a diploma of the Kyzylorda region.
At the end of the event, veterans were presented with flowers and a celebratory program.
With the support of the President and the Government, approximately 625 billion tenge has been allocated for regional healthcare since 2022, and 41 medical institutions have been transferred for the benefit of the country. As part of the national project "Modernization of Rural Healthcare," 28 medical facilities have been built in all districts.
In the regional center, construction is underway on a 300-bed multidisciplinary hospital with an outpatient clinic and an oncology department, outpatient clinics with 400 and 500 visits, and a 200-bed perinatal center.
A number of medical facilities will be reconstructed in the coming years.
