A ceremonial meeting dedicated to Police Day was held at the Arts Center, attended by the regional akim, Murat Ergeshbayev. Law enforcement officials and officers, intellectuals, and public figures participated.
Before the meeting, the regional governor inspected an exhibition of specialized equipment acquired to enhance the logistical capacity of the police service.
The national Anthem was played and the Flag was raised at the ceremonial opening.
The regional governor congratulated the police officers on their professional holiday and spoke about their work in law enforcement.
"Our President, Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich, said: 'There must be law and order in our society. This is the main requirement for ensuring the safety of all of society and every individual.
Only then will we be able to create a Just, Clean, and Safe Kazakhstan.' These tasks require a high degree of responsibility and hard work from you. As a result of systematic collaboration with law enforcement agencies, the socio-political situation in the region is stable. In recent years, crime rates have significantly decreased.
Our goal is not simply to achieve targets. The most important thing is to prevent crime and continually reduce its incidence. Based on the principle of "state and citizen as one," the police must build open and trusting relationships with the public. The people's trust is a great responsibility for you!
May your work in maintaining peace and public order in the country be fruitful!"- said Murat Nalkhozhaevich.
In recent years, more than 18 billion tenge has been allocated from the regional budget to improve the material and technical infrastructure of the region's police agencies. New technologies are being introduced to improve operational efficiency, prevent crime, and promptly solve crimes.
