The North Kazakhstan Region continues to strengthen the material and technical capabilities of its law enforcement agencies. At a ceremonial event, Akim of the region Gauez Nurmukhambetov presented the keys to 100 new police service vehicles, as well as four all-terrain quad bikes designated for a newly established unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operator unit.

The renewal of the police vehicle fleet is being carried out in accordance with the instructions of the Head of State as part of a comprehensive effort to enhance the effectiveness of the country's law enforcement agencies. This year, approximately KZT 1.3 billion has been allocated to improve the material and technical resources of the region's law enforcement bodies. Earlier this year, the police fleet had already been expanded with 80 new vehicles, and today's handover marks another milestone in the large-scale modernization program. In addition, 29 fire engines have been provided to the region's forestry enterprises to strengthen wildfire prevention and firefighting capacity.

The new vehicles and equipment will enable police officers to respond more quickly to citizens' requests, improve public order enforcement, and enhance the safety and security of residents across the region. At the same time, work continues on the introduction of digital technologies, the expansion of the Safe City project, and the modernization of operational command centers.

During the ceremony, police officers and veterans of the internal affairs bodies who have made significant contributions to maintaining law and public safety were also recognized. Outstanding officers were presented with letters of appreciation for their dedicated service.
