By decree of the Akim of Almaty, Zhanat Aitpayeva has been appointed as the Head of the City Department for the Protection of Children's Rights.

Zhanat Aitpayeva was born on February 23, 1968, in the East Kazakhstan Region.

She holds a higher pedagogical and economic education, is a Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences (Ph.D. equivalent), and holds a Master's degree in Economics and Business.

Her total work experience in the fields of education and public administration exceeds 35 years. She began her career as a teacher and, over the years, has held leadership positions in educational organizations and government bodies.

She has headed the East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Practical Center "Daryn," the Education Department of the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk, served as Vice-Rector of Astana IT University, Director of the KSU "Almaty Daryny," and Deputy Head of the Education Department of the city of Almaty.

Since September 2025, she held the position of Chief Inspector of the Ideological Work Department of the Office of the Akim of Almaty — Secretary of the Commission on Minors' Affairs and Protection of Their Rights.

She is the author and co-author of textbooks, teaching aids, and scientific monographs on educational management and pedagogical leadership.

She has been awarded the badge of distinction "Honored Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan," the medal "25 Years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan," as well as departmental awards and certificates of honor.
