A meeting of the interdepartmental commission on crime prevention and anti-corruption was held under the chairmanship of the regional akim, Murat Ergeshbayev.
The agenda included issues related to the prevention of domestic violence and offenses committed while intoxicated, ongoing efforts to protect victims, the state of corruption in the region and the measures taken to prevent it, and corruption risks in the social sphere.
The head of state noted that "an uncompromising fight against corruption is one of the main priorities of our policy." "To establish the rule of law and build a state based on the rule of law, it is necessary, first and foremost, to suppress all manifestations of corruption."
The regional head noted that these requirements must be strictly implemented in the activities of all government agencies in the region.
"It is necessary to clarify the new laws on civil service and strictly adhere to their requirements. I instruct you to review corruption risks in medical organizations and make specific proposals for the gradual automation of procedures.
Public trust in healthcare is paramount." "Therefore, it is necessary to radically strengthen corruption prevention measures in all medical organizations under the department's jurisdiction and increase the personal responsibility of each chief physician. Not a single violation of the law or justified complaint should go unchecked",- said Murat Nalkhozhaevich.
Interagency efforts to prevent offenses committed while intoxicated and to strengthen controls over the illegal sale of alcohol products are also instructed.
To expand the "Village Without Alcohol" project in communities with high crime rates, local elders, community councils, district police officers, and community activists must conduct effective preventative work.
It is important to strictly monitor the effective use of funds allocated to family support centers, mobile groups, and social services. These resources should be directed toward the early identification of dysfunctional families and the prevention of domestic violence. In this regard, an interagency review of the activities of family support centers has been instructed.
