In accordance with the Decree of the Head of State, the meetings of the district akim and rural district akims with residents concluded today in Zhosaly settlement. During the meeting, the Akim of Karmakshy District, Zhandos Yerkinbek, reported to the public on the work carried out during the first half of 2026 and presented the progress of several ongoing projects.

Currently, 1,174 business entities are registered in the settlement, of which 1,114 are operating steadily. Since the beginning of the year, preferential loans totaling 324.3 million tenge have been provided for 36 projects through state support programs.

Infrastructure development works are continuing. Major repairs are currently underway on Kelmembet Batyr Street and Nurzhigit Nakypov Street. In addition, with the support of sponsors, a project worth 3.4 billion tenge is planned to gradually modernize 38 streets that require repair. Once fully implemented, the share of roads in good condition in Zhosaly settlement will reach 100 percent.

To improve residents' safety and comfort, new pedestrian walkways are being constructed this year on Turar Ryskulov, Balky Bazar, and Oraz Akhun streets with the support of the district akim. In addition, the construction of a children's playground is underway on Erimbet Koishybayev Street.

At present, 110 out of the settlement's 128 streets are provided with street lighting, representing 86 percent of all streets. Design and cost estimate documentation for lighting the remaining streets has been prepared and submitted for funding. A separate project to provide lighting for the Tauelsizdik residential area is also under development.

Over the past three years, approximately 10,000 tree saplings have been planted along the streets and within the green belt area, with a survival rate of 90 percent. Reconstruction of the dendropark, irrigation water supply, and further landscaping works have also begun.

The meeting also covered the operation of the irrigation water system, safety measures at the seasonal beach, sanitary cleaning activities, and the work being carried out under the "Taza Kazakhstan" environmental campaign.

At the end of the meeting, the district akim answered residents' questions and emphasized that the proposals and concerns of citizens will always remain a priority, and that efforts to create a comfortable living environment for residents will continue systematically in the future.
