Astana, June 30, 2026 – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yermek Kosherbayev held a telephone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov.

During the conversation, the sides highly appreciated the dynamic development of Kazakh-Azerbaijani relations, reaffirming their mutual commitment to further deepening the strategic partnership.

The parties discussed current issues on the bilateral agenda, as well as key aspects of regional and international issues, including cooperation within the framework of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) and preparations for the CICA Summit, to be held in October 2026 in Baku.

The Ministers reaffirmed their readiness to expand political dialogue and strengthen practical cooperation in trade and investment, industrial cooperation, transport and logistics, information and communication technologies, and other priority areas.
