Dear fellow countrymen!

Today is a significant day for our entire country – the day the New Constitution of Kazakhstan comes into force. Our independent state has confidently moved towards new horizons of development.

The new Basic Law is the main document of our statehood, adopted by the will of the people themselves. The citizens of the country showed great activity in the national referendum, voting for the opening of a new page in our history. Thus, they have proved that they are the main driving force behind the fundamental transformations taking place in society.

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stressed: "The entry into force of the New Constitution is a historic event that will have a direct impact on the fate of the nation." That is why we have every reason to call our Constitution truly popular.

To date, the concept of "Adal Azamat", the principle of "Law and Order", as well as the nationwide campaign "Taza Kazakhstan" have formed new cultural and moral guidelines in society. Thanks to this, the idea of a Just Kazakhstan is taking root and a large-scale government policy aimed at ensuring equal opportunities for all citizens is clearly defined.

I am sincerely convinced that our New Constitution will become a reliable guarantor of the creation of a progressive state and will confidently lead the people to a brighter future.
