A meeting of the Zhanakorgan district's activists, chaired by Murat Ergeshbayev, regional akim, was held in the Zhanakorgan district. The meeting focused on socio-economic indicators and personnel changes.
Zhanakorgan district akim Mazhit Samitovich Samitov was awarded the Kyzylorda Region Honorary Certificate and the medal "For Contribution to the Development of the Kyzylorda Region" for his dedicated work.
The new district akim, Zharkynbek Galymzhan Zharkynbekovich, was introduced. The newly appointed district akim has been tasked with effectively and efficiently attracting investment, expanding the tax base, creating new jobs, implementing entrepreneurship development projects, and ensuring socio-political stability.
Zhanakorgan is one of the leading agricultural producing districts. Therefore, one of the main objectives should be the efficient use of agricultural potential, increasing production volumes, and enhancing the competitiveness of the industry. Given the water shortage in the coming years, it is necessary to systematically diversify crop areas, increase the share of water-intensive crops, and implement advanced water-saving technologies on farms.
Tourism is an important sector of the economy. The natural features and historical and cultural heritage of the Zhanakorgan region offer significant opportunities for increasing tourism potential. This will positively impact the creation of new jobs, the development of small and medium-sized businesses, and the development of the district's economy.
The newly appointed head of the district has been instructed to utilize all resources to ensure the high-quality implementation of new projects.
Galymzhan Zharkynbekovich was born in 1978 in the Zhanakorgan district. He graduated from the Kazakh State Agrarian University with a degree in Agronomy.
He began his career as a chief specialist at the state-owned enterprise Kazagreks and held various senior positions in agriculture. From 2009 to 2021, he served as the head of the regional territorial inspectorate department, head of the Kyzylorda city agriculture and veterinary department, and deputy akim of the Zhanakorgan district.
From January 2021 to the present, he has served as chairman of the Zhanakorgan district maslikhat.
