Today, Murat Ergeshbayev, Akim of the region, met with representatives of the Alpecon Group, Samat Balabekov, Erzhan Ibraimov, and Narmukhan Sarybayev. The meeting focused on the implementation of investment projects.
"Today, the region prioritizes agricultural processing. In this regard, we support your intention to implement a tomato paste production plant in the Zhanakorgan district.
This will not only create added value for the products but also develop vegetable growing and increase cultivated acreage. We are ready to provide the necessary land, administrative support, and infrastructure assistance at all stages. We will provide comprehensive support for this investment initiative, which is of strategic importance for our region",- said Murat Nalkhozhayevich.
Investors are currently interested in acquiring the ATMO AGRO LLP plant in the village of Besaryk, Zhanakorgan district, and producing tomato paste there. The plan is to invest 2.3 billion tenge to modernize process equipment, renovate production and auxiliary facilities, and purchase specialized machinery. This will allow for the processing of up to 600 tons of tomatoes per day. To secure raw materials, it is planned to develop 2,300 hectares of irrigated land and purchase more from the neighboring Turkestan region.
