Kazakhstan and Kenya agreed to expand cooperation

Nairobi, July 2, 2026 - A meeting was held between the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Kenya, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the UN Office in Nairobi, Barlybay Sadykov, and Rebecca Kimeto, Member of the Board of the Kenya Investment Authority.
During the meeting, issues of expanding cooperation between Kazakhstan and Kenya in such sectors as trade, tourism, and investment were discussed.
In addition, the parties exchanged views on the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of sports – athletics, chess, and various types of martial arts.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on mutual exchanges and the dispatch of a delegation from the two countries to explore the potential for expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.
