Islamabad, June 11, 2026 – а meeting was held between the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, H.E. Mr. Y.Kistafin, and the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Minister-in-Charge for Industry and Production, H.E. Mr. Haroon Akhtar Khan.

During the meeting, a comprehensive exchange of views took place on pressing issues of the bilateral agenda and prospects for further development of cooperation. The parties also reaffirmed their commitment to implementing the agreements reached during the state visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, H.E. Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, to Pakistan in February 2026.

For his part, H.E. Mr. Haroon Akhtar Khan assured full support for Kazakhstani entrepreneurs interested in developing trade and economic cooperation with Pakistan, as well as in implementing joint investment projects of mutual interest.
