Today, the 34th session of the regional maslikhat was held with the participation of the regional akim, Murat Ergeshbayev. The session was attended by the chairman of the regional maslikhat, Murat Tleumbetov, heads of law enforcement agencies, deputies, and representatives from relevant sectors. The agenda covered 10 key issues.
In his report on the regional budget execution, the regional akim noted the work done to address the most pressing issues, improve the quality of life of the population, and implement large-scale infrastructure projects.
He analyzed key macroeconomic indicators and summarized the results of the past five months.
"Since 2022, approximately 2.4 trillion tenge of investment has been attracted to the region. This year, approximately 790 billion tenge of investment is planned, of which 261 billion tenge has already been spent.
To diversify the economy, 48 investment projects worth 1.9 trillion tenge are planned for implementation over the next three years, creating over 10,000 new jobs.
Construction of 14 major projects will begin this year, with four currently underway, and groundbreaking for two projects. Work on two greenhouse complexes will begin in the coming days. The remaining six projects are planned to begin by the end of the year",- said the regional akim.
With the special support of the President and the Government, a 300-bed multidisciplinary hospital and the Kyzylorda Arena multifunctional sports complex will be commissioned this year. Two outpatient clinics and a new perinatal center are also under construction. Groundbreaking for the Presidential Library and a new drama theater has been completed.
The first phase of the expansion of the Kyzylorda-Aktobe section of the Western Europe – Western China international corridor to four lanes has begun. Construction of the Beineu – Sekseul road will begin soon. Providing the region's residents with high-quality infrastructure is a constant item on the agenda. By the end of the year, 10 settlements will be connected to gas, bringing the region's gas supply to 85 percent. This year, 2,400 apartments are also planned for those on the housing waiting list.
Regarding the first item on the session's agenda, additional presentations were made by Saken Myrzabek, head of the regional department of economy and finance; Musa Kaldarbekov, chairman of the regional audit commission; and Balzhan Shamenova, chair of the standing committee of the regional maslikhat.
The session considered amendments to the regional budget and development plan, and heard reports from the heads of the departments of veterinary science, community development, and physical education and sports. The discussion focused on expanding the composition of the interdepartmental commission for crime prevention under the regional akimat, amending the regional plan for implementing the "Clean Kazakhstan" concept, and other issues.
