All educational institutions in the East Kazakhstan Region are equipped with security systems in accordance with the anti-terrorism protection requirements approved by Order No. 117 of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Currently, the region has 344 public secondary schools, 85 public kindergartens, and 18 public colleges.

To enhance security, 407 educational institutions are connected to the Operational Control Center and police duty units. Among them, 325 facilities are classified as vulnerable to terrorist threats.

In addition, 447 educational institutions are equipped with emergency alarm buttons, including all 325 facilities classified as vulnerable to terrorist threats.

Ensuring a safe educational environment and protecting the lives and health of students and educators remain key priorities.
