During the meeting, Yerlan Sarsembayev noted the steady development of Kazakh-Moroccan cooperation based on mutual respect, trust, and a shared commitment to strengthening international legal collaboration.
The Minister familiarized the delegation with the main novelties of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the key areas of activity of the Ministry of Justice, the legal reforms being implemented in the country, modern approaches to the development of the justice system, as well as achievements in the digitalization of public services.
Following the negotiations, the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Sarsembayev, and the Minister of Justice of the Kingdom of Morocco, Abdellatif Ouahbi, signed an Agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kingdom of Morocco on mutual legal assistance and legal relations in civil matters, as well as a Memorandum of Understanding between the ministries of the two countries.
