On September 3, 2025, the OCEANMAN QAZAQSTAN 2025 international open water swimming competition concluded on the coast of the Caspian Sea in Aktau.

The event brought together nearly 500 athletes from across Kazakhstan and many countries around the world. Professional swimmers and amateur participants competed in one of the world's leading open water swimming series.

The successful organization of the competition highlighted the Mangystau Region's growing potential for sports tourism and reinforced Aktau's reputation as an attractive destination for hosting major international sporting events.
