The farm has implemented an automated herd management system, digital feeding control, a fully computerized feed mill, and intelligent animal health monitoring systems. Nearly all production processes are automated—from moving animals to the milking parlor to cooling the premises during hot periods.
"Today, the North Kazakhstan Region is the undisputed leader in the country in implementing modern technologies in dairy farming. Of the 118 dairy farms in the region, more than 50 are already operating as 'smart' enterprises. Gennady Zenchenko's new farm houses approximately 9,000 head of cattle, 3,600 of which are dairy cows, and is equipped with a 90-head rotary milking machine from the German brand GEA WESTFALIA. "The new SK Agro 2050 complex will be even larger—the total herd will reach 12,000 head, and the 100-head milking facility is the largest not only in Kazakhstan but in all of Central Asia," noted Gauez Nurmukhambetov, Akim of the North Kazakhstan Region.
The first phase already includes a cowshed for 800 head, a modern dairy unit, a dry-off and foaling facility for 550 head, two calf barns, and a high-tech feed mill.
"Since the beginning of the year, 585 head of highly productive breeding cattle have already been delivered from Germany by air. An additional 660 head are planned to be delivered from European countries by the end of this year," said Vladimir Sergeev, Chief Technologist and Manager of the SK Agro 2050 dairy farm.
According to him, modern digital technologies allow for complete control of the milking process, animal welfare, and product quality.
Today, the North Kazakhstan Region is confidently setting a new standard for dairy farming development in the country. As part of the program to build modern dairy farms, 44 investment projects totaling 144.5 billion tenge are being implemented in the region, making the region a recognized center of high-tech dairy production in Kazakhstan and one of the leaders in agricultural modernization in Central Asia.
