Astana, 13 August 2026 – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Arman Issetov received copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Kazakhstan Renate Peitsch.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects for further expanding bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

They emphasized the importance of upcoming high-level visits and coordinated efforts to enhance the dialogue between Astana and Berlin.

The diplomats expressed their readiness to continue close cooperation in multilateral formats, primarily within the Central Asia – Germany format and other international platforms.

The German Ambassador expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and confirmed her readiness to contribute to strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries.
