Astana, 14 August 2026 - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yermukhambet Konuspayev received copies of credentials from newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Kazakhstan Alimirzamin Askerov.

During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for further strengthening bilateral cooperation in the political, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as the upcoming schedule of bilateral events.

The parties also exchanged views on topical issues of cooperation between the two countries within international organizations.

In conclusion, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and noted his readiness to make every effort to further develop inter-state relations in the spirit of strategic partnership and allied relations.
