A new service has been launched on the eGov mobile app and Gov.kz website that allows citizens to find out the number and address of their polling station in advance for the upcoming Kurultai elections on August 23, 2026.
The new service was created for the convenience of users and to raise awareness of citizens about the voting process. All the necessary information is now available in one section of the eGov Mobile app.
To use the service in the eGov mobile application, the user needs to:
- log in to the eGov Mobile app;
- on the homepage, select the "Kuryltai-2026" icon in the services section under the "Public Services" section;
- check the polling station.
"In preparation for the upcoming elections, we are launching a new service at the eGov Mobile app. For the first time, all information about the Kurultai elections is gathered together in a dedicated section of the app, meaning citizens no longer need to search for it in different sources. Its main task is to make it more convenient for citizens to participate in elections and to make the electoral process itself more open and transparent. Information resources are also available at www.gov.kz/sailau , www.sailau.gov.kz and www.sailau2026.gov.kz . Citizens will be able to check their polling station using the IIN on these websites", said Rostislav Konyashkin, First Vice Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The eGov Mobile service gives users all the information they need to take part in voting. In particular:
- The number and exact address of the polling station;
- Video tutorial on how to obtain an absentee ballot outside a polling station;
- A countdown timer showing how many days are left until voting starts;
- General information about the elections and their significance;
- Section containing the latest news and events related to the elections;
- Useful information on regulatory legal acts;
- Search for a polling station by IIN, which is also available in the "Popular services" section on the homepage;
- The "FAQ" section answers the most frequently asked questions.
The launch of the new service aims to increase transparency in the electoral process, improve citizens' access to important information, and provide convenient digital tools for participating in elections.
