Kazakhstan’s Ambassador Presented His Letters of Credence to the President of Serbia

Belgrade, 17 August 2026 – Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Serbia Bolat Imanbaev presented his Letters of Credence to Aleksandar Vučić, President of the Republic of Serbia.

During the meeting, President Vučić warmly reflected on his recent visit to Astana and conveyed his best wishes to the Head of Kazakhstan. He reiterated his commitment to strengthening cooperation between Serbia and Kazakhstan, emphasizing the importance of implementing agreements reached at the highest levels.

Ambassador Imanbaev affirmed Astana’s dedication to maintaining and deepening the partnership of trust between the two nations, highlighting the need for enhanced multifaceted cooperation.

The discussions covered several pressing issues on the bilateral agenda, noting that 2026 marks the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Serbia. Both sides focused on advancing mutually beneficial cooperation in key sectors, including agriculture, energy, digitalization, construction, culture, science, healthcare, education, and tourism, particularly in light of the established direct flight between the two capitals.

In closing, President Vučić welcomed Kazakhstan’s participation in the upcoming EXPO 2027 International Specialized Exhibition in Belgrade and wished Ambassador Imanbaev every success in his duties in Serbia.
