On 24 August 2026, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Uzbekistan Yeraly Tugzhanov met with the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps accredited in Uzbekistan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to Uzbekistan Saeed Matar Al-Qemzi.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of Kazakhstan–UAE cooperation, noting the high level of political dialogue and positive dynamics in bilateral engagement.

Particular attention was paid to expanding trade, economic and investment ties, implementing joint projects, and deepening cooperation across various sectors of the economy. In this context, the UAE’s advanced experience in developing modern port and logistics infrastructure, particularly in Dubai, was noted as being of practical interest to Kazakhstan in light of the measures being undertaken to strengthen its transit and transport potential and develop international transport corridors.

Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their readiness to maintain regular working contacts and continue constructive engagement on issues of mutual interest.
