Today, at the Government meeting chaired by Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov, the socio-economic development forecast for 2027–2029, the draft law on the republican budget for 2026–2028, as well as the progress of preparations for the heating season were reviewed. Akim of the region Murat Ergeshbayev participated in the meeting via conference call.
At the meeting held after the Government session, the agenda items were discussed in detail.
The head of the region noted that based on the results of seven months, the main macroeconomic indicators of the region have grown, and positive dynamics are observed in all sectors.
«Nevertheless, crude oil production, which accounts for about 80 percent of the mining industry, is declining annually. We need to consider additional mechanisms to meet the targets in the industrial sector. In this regard, I instruct the responsible department to meet with the akimats of cities and districts, as well as with local entrepreneurs, to take appropriate measures.
In the construction sector, the plan approved by the Government for seven months has been exceeded. This year, 106.5 billion tenge has been allocated from the state budget, and construction of 140 facilities is underway. I instruct to ensure the full submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on facilities being built both from budget and extra-budgetary funds.
In addition, indicators in the transport and warehousing sector have grown by 16.4 percent. The Government has set a target indicator for this industry at 107 percent. The responsible department must ensure the full achievement of these indicators.
Based on the socio-economic development forecast of the country, we must approve the development forecast for the region for 2027–2029. I instruct regional departments, akimats of cities and districts to develop and submit for approval the socio-economic development forecast plan by October 1. The projects should be aimed at improving the quality of life of the population and strengthening the socio-economic potential», — emphasized Murat Nalkhozhauly.
This year, 5 billion 500 million tenge has been allocated for the modernization of heat supply facilities in the region. These funds are being used to modernize 8.7 km of heating networks, overhaul gas turbine units No. 1 and No. 2, repair 1.3 km of heating networks, one boiler, one turbine, 10 autonomous boiler houses, as well as main and auxiliary installations. In addition, 7 billion 600 million tenge has been directed to the repair of 460 km of electrical networks and 134 substations. The readiness of 1,074 social facilities in the region is 98 percent.
«Buildings under the jurisdiction of the departments of education, healthcare, culture, sports, and employment must be fully ready for the heating season. Also, the issue of providing the population with coal remains relevant. The required volume is 80 thousand tons: 68 thousand tons for residents and 12 thousand tons for social facilities. I instruct the responsible department, as well as the akimats of cities and districts, to ensure the formation of a full coal reserve within the established deadlines», — said the head of the region.
The meeting also discussed the issue of ensuring road safety for schoolchildren.
According to Deputy Head of the Regional Police Department Ermakhan Adramanov, 962 educational organizations in the region are located near the road network. In this regard, it was proposed to install road signs and markings near them that meet modern requirements. In addition, given the increase in traffic flow due to the start of the new academic year, the installation of additional traffic control devices on streets in the city center is planned.
