Violations in the sale of electrical equipment were identified by employees of the Department of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology in the Atyrau Region.

As part of the response to an appeal from a resident of the city of Atyrau, regarding the purchase of electric foot and back massagers that do not meet the safety requirements of technical regulations, an unscheduled inspection was conducted against the seller, the Individual Entrepreneur "AMANAT GROUP".

Based on the results of the inspection activities regarding the established violations in the form of selling products that do not meet the requirements of the technical regulation in terms of the absence of labeling and operational documents in Russian and the state language, as well as the absence of documents confirming the conformity of the products with the technical regulations TR CU 004/2011 "On the safety of low-voltage equipment", TR CU 020/2011 "Electromagnetic compatibility of technical means", the violator was brought to administrative responsibility in the form of a fine in the amount of 843,375 tenge.

In addition, the violator was ordered to prohibit the sale of non-compliant products.

We remind you that according to Article 35 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Technical Regulation", a necessary condition for the circulation on the market of products for which technical regulations have been put into effect is their compliance with the requirements established by the technical regulations, confirmed in the prescribed manner.

It is prohibited to release into circulation products for which technical regulations have been put into effect, which have not undergone conformity assessment, as well as without the availability of conformity assessment documents or in the absence of information on the availability of such documents in the register of technical regulation or the unified registers of issued or adopted conformity assessment documents of the Eurasian Economic Union.
