Government Corporation Trains Rural Residents in Digital Literacy

Since the beginning of 2026, the State Corporation “Government for Citizens” has conducted training for residents of rural settlements on how to obtain government services and use digital services. Over a period of one and a half months, more than 18,000 citizens from various regions of the country completed the training.

As part of the Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the initiative aims to improve the population’s digital literacy, expand access to government services, and develop the skills needed to obtain them independently online. The highest participation rates were recorded in Kostanay, North Kazakhstan, Zhambyl, and Almaty regions.

The classes were conducted by specialists from the State Corporation “Government for Citizens” in rural districts and settlements across various regions of the country.

In addition, since the beginning of this year, with the participation of the corporate training center “Tanym,” around 5,000 citizens have received training in regional centers. During the classes, participants learned how to obtain government services online, as well as the main tools and capabilities of the country’s digital infrastructure.

It should be noted that free training on the use of electronic government services and modern online services is available to citizens in training classrooms operating in every regional center of the country. Classes are held on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
