From 1 September 2026, owners of real estate and land plots will start receiving PUSH notifications about the calculated individual property tax via second-tier bank apps — Kaspi, Halyk and others.

This is not a fine and not an order to pay immediately. It is a reminder of the amount already assessed. The payment deadline remains no later than 1 October.

Why it is being launched 

Many people learn about the tax at the last moment — or only after arrears appear. A notification in a familiar banking app makes the obligation visible in time and supports tax discipline.

How the rollout will work 

The mailing will go out in stages:

- 1 September — first batch (up to 1 million taxpayers nationwide);

- 4 September — second batch (up to 2 million);

- 7 September — remaining owners.

If the message has not arrived in early September, that is not an error: your turn may fall in the next stage.

When the PUSH arrives, check the object, the owner and the amount. Issues most often arise when a relief was not applied, the wrong owner was charged, the building has been demolished or declared unsafe, or the period of ownership is incorrect.

Do not pay a disputed amount “just in case”. Contact the state revenue office at the location of the property with supporting documents. The request is closed only after the revised amount appears in the personal account. If the data are correct, pay through the same bank app, eGov.kz or e-Salyq Azamat.

The Department asks residents not to postpone checking the notice. A few minutes in a banking app today will spare penalties and extra visits in October.
