On September 2, 2026, A.S. Omarov, Ethics Commissioner of the State Revenue Department for Almaty, held a meeting with employees of the Department and its structural divisions.

During the meeting, particular attention was paid to compliance by civil servants with the standards of official ethics and anti-corruption legislation.

Employees were informed about the main anti-corruption restrictions and requirements, as well as liability for their violation. Particular attention was paid to the prohibition, established as part of anti-corruption restrictions, on civil servants participating in gambling and betting.

In addition, the participants were informed about the measures taken by the state revenue authorities to prevent manifestations of corruption, reduce corruption risks, and promote the principles of integrity and responsibility in the civil service.

Following the meeting, employees were given appropriate instructions to strictly comply with the standards of official ethics and anti-corruption restrictions, as well as to prevent any manifestations of corruption in the course of their official duties.
