As part of the Taza Kazakhstan environmental campaign, Astana hosted another landscaping and greening initiative involving local entrepreneurs. This time, a local business owner planted tree seedlings on the grounds adjacent to his establishment, contributing to the city’s greening efforts.

The main goal of the campaign is to encourage entrepreneurs to keep the areas surrounding their businesses clean and well maintained, promote environmental responsibility, and engage the business community in improving the capital’s urban environment.

The event took place near a Georgian restaurant located on Zhenis Street. As part of the campaign, the entrepreneur received a seasonal checklist for maintaining the adjacent area. It includes key recommendations on timely cleaning, caring for green spaces, and maintaining cleanliness and order.

Entrepreneur Isadin Azamatov expressed his support for the Taza Kazakhstan initiative and encouraged other business owners to contribute to the improvement of the city.

“Today, as part of the Taza Kazakhstan campaign, we are improving the area around our restaurant and planting tree seedlings. The city administration provided us with recommendations on keeping the surrounding area clean and well maintained. We support this initiative and encourage all entrepreneurs to join us in contributing to a cleaner and more attractive city,” he said.

According to Shukhrat Zhorayev, Head of the Entrepreneurship Development Department of Astana, the active involvement of businesses plays an important role in improving the city’s appearance.

“Today, it is important for entrepreneurs not only to develop their businesses but also to actively contribute to the improvement of the city. The autumn tree-planting season has just begun. Therefore, as part of the Taza Kazakhstan campaign, efforts to green adjacent areas and engage entrepreneurs in environmental initiatives will continue,” Shukhrat Zhorayev said.

Such initiatives help strengthen entrepreneurs’ responsibility for the urban environment and contribute to making the capital cleaner, greener, and more comfortable.
