A ceremonial awards ceremony was held at the State Revenue Department of the Kostanay Region to honor accountants who actively participated in the nationwide “People’s Accountant” campaign.
The campaign is aimed at providing practical assistance to taxpayers, improving the tax literacy of citizens and business entities, and strengthening open dialogue among state revenue authorities, the business community, and professional accountants.
During the implementation of the new Tax Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, many citizens and entrepreneurs had questions regarding the fulfillment of their tax obligations. At this time, the accountants participating in the campaign provided significant support to taxpayers. They offered consultations on accounting practices, tax reporting, the application of tax legislation, the completion of tax declarations, and the use of electronic services.
The primary goal of the “People’s Accountant” campaign is not only to provide advisory assistance but also to foster a culture of voluntary and informed compliance with tax obligations. Such initiatives help increase public trust in government institutions, promote partnership-based relationships with taxpayers, and advance the principles of integrity, transparency, and responsibility.
Based on the results of their participation in the campaign, five accountants were awarded Letters of Appreciation from the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, M. Takiyev:
• Yulia Vladislavovna Aman;
• Marina Nikolaevna Pavlova;
• Tatyana Yuryevna Meleshenko;
• Evgeniya Alexandrovna Indach;
• Kseniya Yuryevna Yunusova.
Their contribution to the implementation of the campaign was exceptional. Thanks to the participants’ professionalism, experience, and dedication, taxpayers received not only consultations but also practical assistance, clear explanations, and greater confidence in fulfilling their tax obligations correctly.
The State Revenue Department of the Kostanay Region expresses its gratitude to all participants of the “People’s Accountant” campaign for their active civic engagement, responsibility, professionalism, and contribution to improving the tax literacy of the population.
Holding such events is an important step toward strengthening partnership and cooperation among state revenue authorities, the professional community, and taxpayers, while also contributing to the development of a high tax culture within society.
