Today, a solemn event dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the Audit Commission for the Kyzylorda Region was held at the "House of Friendship" with the participation of the region's akim, Murat Ergeshbayev.
It was attended by state and public figure Omarkhan Oksikbayev, Deputy Director of the Department of Planning, Certification and Methodology of the Supreme Audit Chamber Akbayan Alimbayeva, chairpersons of audit commissions from all regions of the country, veterans, and representatives of the intelligentsia.
The head of the region noted the role of the state audit sphere in ensuring efficient and targeted spending of budget funds.
"President Kassym-Jomart Kemeluly emphasized in his Address that financial discipline and transparency of budget funds are the foundation of public trust, and strictly instructs to ensure efficient and targeted spending of funds. Every tenge must be directed for the benefit of the people and be under constant control.
Today, state audit bodies perform not a punitive, but a partnership function, contributing to the efficient planning of budget funds and the early identification of risks. The Audit Commission for the Kyzylorda Region makes a significant contribution to the efficient and targeted use of state resources in the region.
On the occasion of this significant anniversary, we express our sincere gratitude to the veterans and specialists who have worked in this field. I wish everyone good health and well-being to their families!" – said the akim of the region.
During the event, a number of citizens were awarded the Gratitude of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Certificate of Honor of the Kyzylorda Region, the Letter of Appreciation from the akim of the region, and the badge of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs "Veteran of Civil Service".
State and public figure Omarkhan Oksikbayev delivered a speech and congratulated his colleagues.
The volume of financial resources covered by state audit in the region will exceed 2 trillion tenge in 2025, having increased 3 times compared to 2012. Along with identifying violations of legislation, the Audit Commission prioritizes their prevention. As a result of methodological and practical work, the financial literacy of budget organizations has increased, and the number of deficiencies has decreased.
The 15th anniversary of the Audit Commission is an important milestone in the development of the region's financial control system. During this time, the commission has demonstrated a high standard of professionalism and responsibility, and has carried out large-scale work.
