Today, under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, a Government meeting was held, at which the progress of implementing the Head of State's instructions on the development of the digital assets industry was reviewed. Akim of the region Murat Ergeshbayev participated in the meeting via conference call. Subsequently, the meeting comprehensively discussed the agenda items and ensuring the targeting of social assistance.
Systematic work is underway in the region to digitalize the spheres of public services, education, healthcare, agriculture, IT, industry, and the transport and logistics sector. Measures to regulate the circulation of digital assets, introduced since May, are being implemented jointly with the National Bank and central executive bodies.
In accordance with the Head of State's instruction to direct social assistance to truly needy citizens, a scoring system has been introduced into the legal acts for 14 types of social assistance provided from the republican budget. This system allows for assessing the social status of families through a digital card. It is necessary to conduct verification for families in categories A and B, whose social status is assessed in the digital card as good and satisfactory. This work has been instructed to be completed by September 20.
Currently, the region's digital card contains information on 221,341 families or 850,747 people. Of these, 25,689 families subject to verification have been identified. For the high-quality execution of the instruction within the established deadlines, a corresponding schedule with daily target indicators has been approved and sent to district and city akimats. As of today, work continues in accordance with this plan.
