Astana, September 15, 2026 – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Arman Issagaliyev received copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Kazakhstan Salah Jaboob.

Deputy Minister Issagaliyev congratulated the Omani Ambassador on his appointment and expressed confidence that his tenure would contribute to the further strengthening of friendly relations and the development of multifaceted cooperation between Kazakhstan and Oman.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the progress of preparations for the upcoming visits at high and highest levels, the current state and prospects of Kazakh-Omani cooperation, noting the high level of political dialogue and mutual interest in further expansion of economic and investment interaction.

Ambassador Jaboob expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and reaffirmed his commitment to making every effort to further strengthening the partnership between Astana and Muscat.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue cooperation across the full range of issues of mutual interest.
