Representatives of various ethnic groups serve in the ranks of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, safeguarding public peace and faithfully fulfilling their duty to the Motherland. Among them are many servicemen who demonstrate their respect for the state language through their creative work and daily service. Corporal Denis Yakovlev and Junior Sergeant Alexander Netesov are vivid examples of this.

Denis Yakovlev has been serving in the National Guard for about 15 years. He has distinguished himself in military service not only through his creative talent, but also through his courage. In 2018, for saving a drowning person and preserving his life, he was awarded the Presidential Medal “For Military Valor” by Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In addition, Denis is a prize-winner of international vocal competitions and a finalist of the musical television project “Topzhargan.” He is fluent in the Kazakh language and is an accomplished performer on the traditional Kazakh musical instrument, the dombra. He is a father of three children.

Junior Sergeant Alexander Netesov joined the law and order troops in 2020. Today, he is serving with distinction as a member of the Male Choir. As the concertmaster of the Song and Dance Ensemble, he makes a significant contribution to the work of the creative team and to promoting patriotism and love for the Motherland.

The work of both military musicians has been recognized with various awards. Both performers have received badges of honor and letters of appreciation on behalf of the Ministers of Internal Affairs, Culture, and Defense.

The example of Denis and Alexander, who treat the Kazakh language with respect and speak it fluently, demonstrates that the state language is a shared value that unites society. Their creative work, military service, and respect for the Kazakh language serve as a worthy example for many.
