Astana September 17, 2026 – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi received Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Kazakhstan Alexey Borodavkin.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of Kazakhstan-Russia bilateral cooperation, the implementation of agreements reached at the highest and high levels, as well as the schedule of upcoming mutual visits and joint events.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on topical issues of the regional and international agenda and cooperation in multilateral formats.

Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their mutual interest in further strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance between Kazakhstan and Russia.
