Astana, September 17, 2026 – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi received Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Kazakhstan Kudaibergen Bazarbaev.

During the meeting, the sides discussed current issues of Kazakh-Kyrgyz cooperation in the political, trade and economic, water and energy, and cultural and humanitarian spheres.

The Minister emphasized Kazakhstan’s interest in further expanding multifaceted cooperation with Kyrgyzstan in the spirit of friendship, good-neighborliness and alliance.

For his part, the Kyrgyz Ambassador reaffirmed Bishkek’s firm commitment to further strengthening allied relations with Astana and assured that he would make every effort to implement the tasks set by the Presidents of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan to strengthen comprehensive cooperation.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on current issues of the regional and international agenda. They expressed readiness to continue providing mutual support within multilateral structures.
