On September 17, 2026, the presentation of the CICA Fund to development assistance agencies and key stakeholders was held at the CICA Headquarters in Astana. The event was attended by CICA Secretary General Amb. Kairat Sarybay, CICA Secretariat officials, and representatives of international organizations and regional development agencies.

The meeting served as a platform to present the concept and strategic objectives of the CICA Fund as a practical framework for transforming policy dialogue into tangible joint projects.

Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Board of KazAID Amb. Nurgali Arystanov highlighted the agency's work since its inception in 2020, focusing on flagship programs such as Avicenna (Healthcare), Dostyk (Digitalization & Diplomacy), and Entrepreneurship. He also outlined promising priority areas, including food security, water management, and international trade.

KazAID expressed its full commitment to partnering with the CICA Secretariat and Member States, offering its operational infrastructure to act as an executing agency for projects approved under the CICA Fund, and scaling up capacity-building initiatives across the region.
