With the support of the District Akim, veterans of our district have set off on an educational and spiritual trip to the city of Turkistan as part of the “Ardagerlerdi ardaktaıyq” (“Let Us Honor Our Veterans”) project.

District Akim Zhandos Yerkinbek personally saw the veterans off and wished them a safe and successful journey:

“Your life journeys are an example for the younger generation. Such educational trips provide our veterans with an opportunity to learn about our historical and cultural heritage and visit sacred sites. Turkistan is a sacred place that holds a special position in the history and spiritual heritage of our people. I wish you a safe and successful journey,” he said.

It should be noted that the “Ardagerlerdi ardaktaıyq” project is traditionally organized with the support of the district akim. The main goal of the project is to provide district veterans with opportunities to visit educational sites and learn more about the country’s historical heritage.

Last year, as part of the project, around 100 veterans from the district visited the city of Turkistan, the Baikonur Cosmodrome, as well as other sacred places, where they paid tribute to the memory of their ancestors and offered prayers for their souls.

This year, the good initiative is continuing, with an educational trip organized for 40 veterans. Going forward, the project plans to organize visits to other historical, cultural and sacred sites across the country.
