The State Revenue Department for Almaty reminds individuals who own real estate and land plots of the need to pay property tax for 2025 by October 1, 2026.

The tax amounts are available to taxpayers: information required to generate notifications was provided to second-tier banks, based on which their customers received push notifications in mobile applications, including Kaspi and Halyk, with a breakdown of the amounts for each property.

The tax can be paid using any convenient method:

• through the mobile applications of second-tier banks;
• in cash at bank branches or payment terminals;
• by bank card through ATMs and payment terminals.

Please note that starting from October 2, 2026, property owners with outstanding tax debt will be sent the relevant notifications. If payment is not made within 30 business days, a tax order will be issued; if it is not complied with within 5 business days, the case will be referred to private enforcement officers.

The State Revenue Department for Almaty recommends making the payment in advance to avoid this procedure.
