In the third quarter of 2026, the Ethics Commissioner, Deputy Head of the State Revenue Department of East Kazakhstan region, K.K. Koishinov held online meetings with civil servants of territorial state revenue offices.

Specifically, on July 16, a meeting was held with the SRO of Altay district – Altay town; on August 12 with the SRO of Samar district and the SRO of Kurchum district; and on September 22 with the SRO of Katon-Karagay district and the SRO of Tarbagatay district.

During the meetings, issues concerning compliance with the laws of the Republic Kazakhstan "On Public Service" and "On Countering Corruption," the Ethical Code of Civil Servants, as well as respecting for office discipline, crime prevention, and the prohibition of smoking in state bodies were examined.

Particular attention was drawn to the inadmissibility of civil servants participating in gambling, operating vehicles in the influence of alcohol or drugs, and being in public places in such a state.

Following the results of the meetings, the necessity of continuously complying with legislative requirements and norms of official ethics, as well as strengthening discipline, legality, and liability among civil servants was emphasized.
