New York, 24 September 2026 – On the sidelines of the 81^st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nepal Shisir Khanal signed an Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of Nepal on exemption from visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and service/official passports.

The document is aimed at facilitating mutual travel for holders of diplomatic and service/official passports of the two countries, as well as further strengthening political, trade and economic ties between Kazakhstan and Nepal.
