New York, September 24, 2026 – On the margins of the High-Level Week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi met with UN Development Programme (UNDP) Administrator Alexander De Croo.

The meeting focused on a broad range of bilateral and regional cooperation issues aimed at advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Foreign Minister expressed appreciation to UNDP for its active support in the organization and holding of the Regional Environmental Summit in April this year, and highlighted the Programme’s important role in implementing projects through the UN Regional Centre for the Sustainable Development Goals for Central Asia and Afghanistan.

Following the meeting, the sides reaffirmed their mutual commitment to further deepening comprehensive partnership in support of sustainable development and regional stability.
