Kazakhstan and Israel discuss new areas of cooperation in sports

The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the State of Israel Daulet Yemberdiyev met with Minister of Culture and Sports of the State of Israel Miki Zohar to discuss prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation in the field of sports. The meeting took place against the backdrop of intensifying Kazakhstan-Israel relations. Over the past year, a number of reciprocal visits and high-level contacts have taken place, creating favorable conditions for expanding practical cooperation between the two countries. The sides emphasized the significant potential of sports diplomacy as an important instrument for strengthening humanitarian ties and promoting mutual understanding between the peoples of Kazakhstan and Israel. The meeting also focused on mechanisms for coordinating mutual support within international sports organizations. The sides underscored the importance of constructive dialogue and cooperation on issues of mutual interest. The Kazakh side expressed interest in further developing direct contacts between the sports authorities of the two countries and exploring new formats of cooperation that could facilitate the implementation of joint projects.
