Ulaanbaatar, 25 September 2026 – Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Mongolia Almas Seitakynov met with Mongolia’s Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Communications, Nomin Chinbat.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state of and prospects for Kazakhstan-Mongolia cooperation in digitalisation, information technology and innovation.

Particular attention was given to the digitalisation of public services, the development of e-government, the adoption of artificial intelligence, as well as issues related to information security and cybersecurity.

Ambassador Seitakynov highlighted Kazakhstan’s achievements in the digital transformation of public administration and expressed interest in expanding practical cooperation between the relevant government agencies, organisations and IT companies of the two countries.

The sides also considered opportunities to establish direct links between representatives of the Kazakh and Mongolian IT sectors and to pursue joint initiatives in the field of digital technologies and innovation.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the sides agreed to maintain close working contacts and continue cooperation on issues of mutual interest.
