On September 24, 2026, the Department of State Revenues of the East Kazakhstan Region held a strategic working meeting with representatives of the region’s leading higher education institutions. The meeting focused on the launch and discussion of a joint regional youth project for the 2026–2027 academic year.

The meeting was attended by representatives of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University, and Kazakhstan-American Free University, as well as the project partner, Director of the Kazakhstan International Foundation for Legal Cooperation, Doctor of Law, Kuat Khazhumukhanovich Rakhimberdin, and veterans of the state revenue authorities.

The main goal of the initiative is to enhance young people’s tax, financial, and legal literacy, develop tax volunteering, and strengthen cooperation between government institutions, universities, and the student community of East Kazakhstan.

Key Areas of the Project for the 2026–2027 Academic Year:

• Educational Track: Organization of information and educational events, open lectures, and seminars for students majoring in finance and economics, law, and management.

• Tax Volunteering: Active work of the “East Kazakhstan Tax Volunteer” Youth Club, aimed at the practical application of knowledge and providing advisory assistance.

• Interactive Formats: Organization of joint competitions, intellectual quizzes, and educational awareness campaigns.

During the open dialogue, participants discussed the project concept, formats for engaging students and faculty members, and plans for further cooperation. Heads of educational programs and faculty deans expressed their readiness to support the initiative, emphasizing its importance in fostering civic responsibility and developing the professional competencies of future specialists.

Head of the Department of State Revenues of the East Kazakhstan Region, Sayat Sayaylaubekovich Bimagambetov, thanked the universities for their continued support of joint initiatives and expressed hope for fruitful cooperation in the new academic year.
