The State Revenue Department for East Kazakhstan Region continuously carries out work to ensure compliance with the customs legislation of the Eurasian Economic Union and/or the Republic of Kazakhstan during customs control of goods and vehicles transported across the customs border.

As part of one of the recent measures conducted in East Kazakhstan Region, an attempt to illegally export diesel fuel concealed in an additionally installed fuel tank of a truck was prevented.

On September 15, 2026, officers of the Maykapchagai Customs Post of the State Revenue Department for East Kazakhstan Region, jointly with officers of the Border Service of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Department of the Economic Security Service for East Kazakhstan Region, inspected an empty truck driven by a citizen of the People’s Republic of China and traveling from the Republic of Kazakhstan to the People’s Republic of China.

During the inspection, an attempt to export approximately 860 liters of diesel fuel concealed in specially equipped additional fuel tanks was prevented.

The relevant materials have been forwarded to the Department of the Economic Security Service for East Kazakhstan Region for a procedural decision.

The State Revenue Department for East Kazakhstan Region urges citizens and businesses to strictly comply with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan when crossing the customs border.

The Department continues to implement a comprehensive set of measures aimed at preventing the illegal export of fuel and lubricants, protecting the economic interests of the state, and ensuring transparency in the movement of goods across the customs border.
