Behind each of you lie years of hard work, responsibilities, significant decisions, and life’s challenges. You have built and developed your home region, raised children, established families, and contributed through your labor to the progress of our district and our country. All of this has become part of our shared history and the foundation upon which the future is being built today.
The accumulated experience and wisdom of the older generation are of immense value. You preserve family and professional traditions, passing on knowledge and guiding principles to the youth. It is this continuity between generations that helps us preserve the best of the past while moving forward with confidence.
Today, state policy regarding the older generation focuses not only on social support but also on creating conditions for an active and dignified life in one’s later years. It is important that older people have the opportunity to remain active, socialize, pursue their interests, look after their health, and participate in the life of the community.
To the esteemed members of the older generation:
I wish you robust health, well-being, warmth of spirit, and many long, happy years! May you always be surrounded by loved ones—children and grandchildren—whose successes bring you joy. May each new day bring peace, pleasant encounters, and confidence in the future!
